2. About Mighty Goals

Mighty Goals is an iOS coaching application. During a brief setup, you choose up to three life areas to focus on (such as health, wealth, career, relationships, family, mind, or fun) and pick one of four AI coaches. The app then helps you turn intentions into clear, time-boxed goals and breaks them into small daily quests. Coaching is delivered as text chat and real-time voice calls. Mighty Goals is published by Dual Storm Studio Ltd, the controller named above.

This Privacy Notice explains the personal data we process when you use Mighty Goals, why we process it, the legal basis, and the rights you have. It applies to the Mighty Goals iOS app and to the marketing pages on dualstorm.com that describe it.

3. Personal data we collect and how we process it

When you use the Mighty Goals app

  • An anonymous account identifier issued by Dual Storm — Mighty Goals creates an anonymous account by default; no email or social login is required to begin
  • Optional account email if you choose to add one for cross-device sync or recovery
  • Apple user ID (only if you choose to sign in with Apple)
  • Technical device data (iOS version, device model, app version, language, time zone, country)
  • Push notification tokens, including VoIP push tokens used to deliver incoming coaching calls via CallKit
  • Crash logs and diagnostic data via Sentry
  • App usage and event analytics via Firebase Analytics

We process this information to:

  • Operate the app and keep your account active
  • Sync your data across devices if you have linked them
  • Deliver coaching messages, push notifications, and calls
  • Diagnose crashes and improve stability

Content you create inside Mighty Goals

  • The life areas you select during setup (such as health, wealth, career, relationships, family, mind, or fun) and any related preferences
  • Goals you save and the daily quests generated from them, including completion status, streaks, and energy
  • The AI coach you select (Sarah, Michael, James, or Jessica)
  • Text messages you exchange with your chosen AI coach
  • Voice call audio (transmitted in real time to the voice provider for transcription and response generation; see Section 5)
  • Optional reflections, journal-style notes, and any additional context you share with your coach

We process this information to:

  • Personalise the coaching experience to the life areas you selected
  • Generate SMART goal templates, daily quests, and coach prompts that fit your selected focus
  • Provide continuity across sessions (your coach remembers context)
  • Improve the quality of coaching and the underlying models

This is sensitive content. We treat it as such. Voice audio is not retained by us once the call ends, except for the transcript which is stored as part of your conversation history. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 9).

If you subscribe to a paid plan

Mighty Goals processes subscriptions through Apple's App Store using RevenueCat as our subscription management provider. Apple is the merchant of record for App Store transactions and will collect billing information directly. Dual Storm does not see or store your payment card details.

The paid Subscription is offered as two auto-renewing plans:

  • Mighty Goals Yearly — US$69.99 per year, auto-renewing every year, with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers
  • Mighty Goals Monthly — US$9.99 per month, auto-renewing every month

From RevenueCat we receive:

  • Subscription status (active, trialing, expired, refunded, in grace period, on hold)
  • Product identifier and entitlement (which plan you are on)
  • Anonymous transaction identifiers
  • Renewal and cancellation events relayed from Apple

We process this information to:

  • Grant or revoke access to the paid coaching tier
  • Honour restore-purchase requests across devices
  • Provide customer support if you contact us about a billing question
  • Comply with tax and accounting requirements

You can manage or cancel your Subscription at any time in iOS Settings → [your Apple ID name] → Subscriptions. Full subscription terms are set out in the Mighty Goals Terms of Use.

If you contact support

When you email [email protected] or use the contact form, we receive:

  • Your email address
  • Any name or other identifier you choose to provide
  • The contents of your message and any attachments

We process this information to:

  • Respond to your enquiry
  • Diagnose and resolve issues
  • Maintain a record of correspondence for legal purposes

4. Lawful basis of processing

We process most of the data described above either under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) — to provide the Mighty Goals service you requested — or under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests) — to operate, secure, and improve the app and respond to support enquiries.

Where we ask for explicit consent (for example, to enable optional analytics features or send marketing emails), we process under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

5. Third-party service providers

We use a small set of trusted service providers to operate Mighty Goals. We require them to protect your data and to use it only to perform the service we contracted them for.

  • Google Cloud Platform / Firebase — hosting, authentication, push notifications, analytics, and crash diagnostics
  • RevenueCat — subscription management for App Store purchases
  • Apple Inc. — App Store distribution, App Store payments, Sign in with Apple, APNs/VoIP push delivery, CallKit
  • Cartesia and other AI model providers — real-time voice synthesis and transcription, large language model inference for chat and voice coaching responses
  • Sentry — error monitoring and crash reporting
  • Cloudflare — content delivery, DDoS protection, and web security for our marketing site

We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with third-party advertising networks. Mighty Goals does not contain advertising.

6. International transfers of personal data

Mighty Goals is provided to users worldwide. Some of our service providers (notably Google Cloud Platform, Apple, RevenueCat, Sentry, and AI model providers) operate from the United States or other jurisdictions outside the European Economic Area.

When personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Commission Decision (EU) 2021/914 of 4 June 2021) and equivalent protections, supplemented by additional technical and organisational measures where required. 7. Cookies and analytics

The Mighty Goals iOS app does not use web cookies. Inside the app we use:

  • Apple's Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), to associate analytics events with your installation
  • Firebase Analytics events, to understand which features are used and where users encounter friction
  • Sentry session and crash data, to diagnose stability issues

Our marketing pages on dualstorm.com use Google Analytics cookies in line with our website cookie practices. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

Mighty Goals does not use the Identifier for Advertising (IDFA) and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites within the meaning of Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

8. Children

Mighty Goals is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Some content and features may require users to be 16 or older where local law requires that age for consent to data processing.

9. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access — obtain a copy of personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention obligations
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data while a request is being considered
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly-used, machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Withdraw consent — for any processing based on your consent, at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You can also delete your account and most associated data directly from the in-app Settings screen.

10. How long we keep your information

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, transaction records for tax purposes), or where data is preserved in encrypted backups that are rotated regularly.

Voice call audio is not retained after the call ends. Call transcripts are retained as part of your conversation history and are deleted on account deletion.

11. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access controls, and continuous monitoring. While we work hard to keep your data secure, no system is completely impenetrable. If you have concerns about the security of your account, please contact us at [email protected].

12. Wellbeing notice

Mighty Goals is a coaching tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic care. The AI coaches in Mighty Goals are conversational characters generated by large language models; they are not licensed clinicians and should not be relied on for medical or mental health advice. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

13. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes to our practices. If we do this and the changes are material, we will post a notice in the app and on dualstorm.com for at least 7 days before the changes take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

14. Making a complaint

If you believe we have not handled your personal data lawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority where you live or work. In Cyprus, where Dual Storm Studio Ltd is established, the supervisory authority is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.
